Enter the silhouette
Seeking solely solitude
From the stark sadness
Surrounding his simple existence.
Something quietly slips by
Sounding surprisingly small
Whispers of sentimental scenes
Preserving his mortal soul
Sadness slithers softly away
And sings softly songs of hope
Speaking sonnets of simple rhyme
Releasing him from himself
Shall another simply say
He shall suffer more?
Self-preserved, saves himself
From his sentimental sorrow.
